Yesterday, the USRFD was dispatched to a home for a light bulb that had exploded and caught fire. Chief 1230, and Engine 1232 (OIC FF Kelly) responded to find a melted light bulb, with no extension into the home. Crews checked the area with a thermal imaging camera, and once deemed safe, crews cleared the scene.
Today, the USRFD was dispatched for an activated fire alarm. Chiefs 1230, 1240 and Engine 1232 (OIC FF Pink) responded to find the alarm was set off due to an animal who chewed through the wires of the alarm system.
