Where is that Fire Hydrant when you need one!
Firefighter data states a fire can double in size every 30 seconds, and blocked hydrants can slow their response during emergencies.

Residents are being asked to remove snow and ice directly from hydrants, then clear a three‑foot perimeter and a path to the street.
Some hydrants have been dug out along the USR roads and much thanks as that allows firefighters to secure water for the neighboring homes.
Unfortunately, If you are a neighboring property by a snow covered hydrants there could be a delayed access for the USR Volunteer Fire Department. We ask for your help to dig out that hydrant that may be 2 or 3 houses away.
That would provide for hydrant access to the water source for homes up to 1000 feet should there be an urgent need. YOUR EMERGENCY MAY BE OUR EMERGENCY FIRE CALL
